What is PaisaUtils?
PaisaUtils is a CRM for SEBI-registered financial advisors in India, paired with a public directory that helps investors discover verified advisors by city, language, fee model and expertise.
Is PaisaUtils free?
Yes. The core CRM and a verified directory listing are free to start. No credit card is required to create an account.
Who can sign up as an advisor on PaisaUtils?
Any SEBI-registered Investment Advisor (RIA) or AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor practising in India can sign up. After you submit your profile, our team reviews your registration details — usually inside 48 hours — and marks your listing as Verified.
How do you verify SEBI-registered advisors?
Every advisor profile is reviewed against the public SEBI Intermediaries and AMFI distributor databases. We check the registration number, the registered name and the status before we award a Verified badge. Profiles that are pending review are listed as Provisional so investors can still discover them while verification is in progress.
How can investors find an advisor on PaisaUtils?
Use the public directory at /find. You can filter advisors by city, language, fee model (fee-only, commission, hybrid) and area of expertise, then request to connect in a single click. Connecting is free for investors.
What is a SEBI-registered investment advisor (RIA)?
A SEBI-registered Investment Advisor is a person or firm authorised by the Securities and Exchange Board of India under the SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013 to provide personalised investment advice for a fee. RIAs operate under a fiduciary duty and must disclose any conflicts of interest.
What does the CRM include for advisors?
Lead capture and intake forms, client onboarding, tasks and follow-ups with reminders, an activity timeline per client, notes, communications, a verified public profile, and basic compliance-friendly audit trails.
Does PaisaUtils replace compliance or KYC tools?
No. PaisaUtils helps you run your advisory practice end-to-end, but it is not a SEBI audit tool or a KYC registration agency. We integrate with your existing workflow and keep an activity trail you can export for compliance reviews.
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored on managed infrastructure with row-level security, encrypted in transit and at rest. Each advisor (tenant) can only access their own leads, clients and activities. Read our Privacy Policy at /privacy for full details.
How do I get listed as Verified faster?
Make sure the registered name, SEBI/AMFI number and city in your profile match the public regulator records exactly. Mismatches are the most common reason verification is delayed.
